

Linda, a mother of two grown children, has always loved the food industry. When her children were young she decided to create and run her own food demo and marketing agency. Interacting with the public, sampling specialty foods and listening to what consumers wanted was a perfect match for her outgoing personality.
Her next step was working for a small candy and specialty food distributor. After a five-year tenure she realized that although she loved the business, there were much healthier ways to snack!
Still interested in pursuing a career in healthy foods, her next position was with Glenn Foods. As a pioneer in soy-based products, this was the first brand to break out of the health food industry and successfully introduce Soy Crisps to the mass market. Linda was involved in all aspects of bringing a product to market, including new product research and development, package design, marketing, product launches and inventory management. It was at Glenn Foods where Linda and Lu first met and began their eight year business relationship and long friendship.
Linda then joined World Gourmet Marketing, a supplier of healthier portion control snacks. It was while working there that Linda realized she wanted to have more input in the products that she was bringing to market. Not only that, she wanted to fulfill her dream of working with Lu again, to bring their ideas of healthy and innovative snacking to the public. After all, they had done it over and over again at other companies, why not do it and build a team that would embrace their passion and fuel their imagination. They had the knowledge, they had the contacts, they had the drive and they certainly had the ideas.
They were finally able to realize this dream at the beginning of 2008 when Medora Snacks was launched and Medora World became a reality.
